Welcome to N. H. Stephens Intermediate!  

N. H. Stephens Intermediate has 538 students ranging from 3rd through 5th grade.  Our staff includes 48 certified staff members. Our staff includes 27 classroom teachers.  We offer STEM and technology in every grade, and provide 4-H and Beta Club opportunities for students in 4th and 5th grade.

We are truly excited to have you join our Wildcat family. Our mission is to inspire hope and create pathways to student and community success. It is our sincerest belief that a student’s journey should include great opportunities that help them find their path.

N. H. Stephens Intermediate is proudly accredited, and all of our teachers are committed to providing the best instruction in their respective areas. Our school community believes in providing our students with the best educational experience possible. 

We strongly encourage your involvement in your child’s education, as a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and students creates the most supportive and successful learning environment. Please be sure to maintain regular contact with your child’s teacher. We also invite you to become actively involved by joining the N. H. Stephens Intermediate Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).

We are a Title I district, offering district- and school-based Title I services. Our Title I plan (including the family involvement plan) was developed by a committee and is available for review in the Central Office and the school’s parent engagement center. Throughout the school year—and especially during the annual Title I meeting—information about the plan will be shared with parents. The plan is evaluated each spring and fall using test data and survey results. These federally funded services are designed to support the academic success of all students.

The Parent Handbook and Compact provide important information about our school’s policies and procedures. We encourage you to refer to it regularly throughout the year.
